Electronic Services

BCBSAZ offers a variety of electronic services which can streamline billing processes and office procedures. We offer you choices for conducting electronic business either through a direct connection to BCBSAZ or through a third-party clearinghouse.

All Payor Network (APN) Clearinghouse Services

The BCBSAZ All Payer Network Clearinghouse* accepts the following claim types, 837 Institutional, Professional and Dental for:

  • BCBS Claims (local and out-of-area)
  • Corporate Health Services Claims
  • Commercial Claims
  • Medicare Part B

Providers are able to receive APN reports for their batch of claims submitted to BCBSAZ. Other reports available based on the type of payers' claims sent through the APN:

  • NEIC Medical/Dental Claims Report for commercial and CHS claims
  • ENS Claims Acknowledgement Report for Medicare B and CHS claims
  • Interactive Payer Network for CHS claims

Third Party Clearing House Connection

If connecting directly through the BCBSAZ APN does not fit the needs of your organization, another option is conducting electronic business through a third party clearinghouse. To better serve you, BCBSAZ exchanges transactions with multiple national clearinghouses conducting business in Arizona.

The printable worksheet below is intended to provide you with a listing of clearinghouses currently working with BCBSAZ.
